
Hot-rock power plant starts selling electricity in Utah
A Fervo Energy plant in Utah makes electricity by pumping water through hot rock deep underground. Its first 33 megawatts are now running commercially and selling power under contract, a first for a plant of this kind built from scratch at full size.
