The FDA approved Rasonque (daraxonrasib), the first targeted RAS inhibitor for metastatic pancreatic cancer
More
A once-daily tablet for adults with metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma after at least one prior therapy, or who cannot take multiagent chemo. In a 500-person randomized trial, median overall survival was 13.2 months versus 6.7 months on standard chemotherapy.
Pancreatic adenocarcinoma is usually found late and has had few options. A first-in-class drug that more than doubled median survival in that trial is a new path for people who had almost none.
