4,000 little dams, and the curlews are back on Winter Hill

After a huge wildfire in 2018, Winter Hill in England is coming back to life. Around 4,000 small crescent-shaped dams now hold rainwater on the moor, new plants are thriving, and curlews and lapwings, once missing there, have returned. via United Utilities
